The 2027 Step 1 Application deadline is October 16, 2026.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ BSP Committee will choose the two Beckman Scholars following a two-step review process. Applicants who advance to the finalist stage will be notified of their status by November 2, and will be invited to participate in a mandatory workshop (to be scheduled November 16) to learn about program expectations and commitments and about the next step in their application.
The deadline for the finalists’ Step 2 Application is December 15, 2026.
Following review of the application materials, four finalists will be invited to present their proposed research project to the Â鶹ÊÓƵ BSP Committee on January 29 (tentative).
The two Beckman Scholar/Mentor Pairs will be chosen by February 1.
