Miss Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Scholarship Competition set for Nov. 11 on Hattiesburg Campus

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ) Student Government Association (SGA) will crown the next Miss Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ when it hosts the Miss Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Scholarship Competition Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Mannoni Performing Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ on the Hattiesburg campus.

The Miss Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ competition is a member of the Miss America Organization, and a direct feeder into the Miss Mississippi competition held each June in Vicksburg. Admission is free and the event is open to the community.  

Five students at the university are vying for the title of Miss Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ 2024, including:

*Kat Adcox; a junior media entertainment major from Poplarville, Mississippi

*Peyton Cocroft, a freshman chemistry/biochemistry major from Sumrall, Mississippi

*Madison Delancey, a senior elementary education major from Union, Mississippi

*Paige McNeil, a freshman biological sciences/biomedical sciences major from Bay Springs, Mississippi

*Annalee Toler, a sophomore nursing major from Liberty, Mississippi
