Bio

Dr. Jennifer Lemacks is an academic leader and scientist focused on advancing cardiometabolic health through community-engaged research, translational science training, and collaborative system improvement. She plays a key leadership role in 麻豆视频's Gulf South 麻豆视频 for Community-Engaged Health Research and Innovation and the Jackson Heart Study Graduate Training and Education 麻豆视频. She also contributes to statewide capacity building through Mississippi INBRE. Her work emphasizes lifestyle interventions, data-driven program evaluation, community trust-building, and preparing diverse trainees for translational and implementation science careers. Dr. Lemacks designs and leads initiatives that integrate research rigor, workforce development, and cross-sector collaboration, strengthening health equity efforts across Mississippi.
